Dr. Ahsan Ahmad is a Global Health Specialist with over 23 years of experience leading transformative work in health systems strengthening, digital health, international health regulations, infectious diseases, emergency preparedness, and RMNCH across low- and middle-income countries. He received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College and his MSc in Epidemiology & Biostatistics from Aga Khan University (Pakistan), and his PhD in Health Systems and MNCH from the University of Melbourne (Australia).

Ahsan designs and leads impactful programs improving maternal and child health and nutrition through integrated service delivery, community engagement, and data-driven strategies aligned with SDGs, Universal Health Coverage, and emergency frameworks. He has spearheaded the deployment of M&E platforms, including DHIS2, enabling real-time surveillance and integrated data analysis.

Currently Chief Executive of PRIME Consulting (Pakistan) and Senior Associate at Grassroots Health, Education, and Development Initiative, Ahsan also brings extensive experience from technical and academic roles (Aga Khan University, Health Services Academy, Johns Hopkins University, University of Melbourne, University of Manitoba) and high-level consulting (World Bank, ADB, USAID, FCDO, UN agencies).
