Dr. Ajeet Lal Waswani is a consultant psychiatrist and researcher dedicated to advancing mental health awareness and expanding access to quality care. His work emphasizes patient-centered treatment, psychoeducation, and counseling for young individuals, couples, and families, with a strong focus on community-based service delivery.

Based in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Waswani brings extensive experience in public mental health, clinical care, and community outreach. As a consultant and counselor with the Pakistan Association for Mental Health (PAMH), he has led numerous free psychiatric camps and awareness programs promoting early diagnosis and destigmatization of mental illness. He is also actively engaged in medical education, teaching psychiatry and behavioral sciences to medical and nursing students.

Dr. Waswani holds an MBBS from Chandka Medical College and an MCPS in Psychiatry from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. A member of the Pakistan Psychiatric Society (PPS) and the American Psychiatric Association (APA), he is a passionate advocate for reducing stigma and ensuring that mental health care is equitable and accessible for all.
