A flagship achievement is her key role in Pakistan’s first provincial Electronic Immunization Registry (EIR)—a foundational system managing 147 million immunization records prior to its national scale-up. Humdiya led its infrastructure, analytics pipelines, and data workflows—enabling real-time, data-driven decision-making across the health system. She also champions interoperability, integrating platforms like DHIS2, OpenMRS, ODK, and ODK-X to ensure seamless data exchange between frontline tools and national systems.
Her cross-sector innovations include the development of an automated conditional cash transfer system linking verified immunization data with telecom APIs to deliver real-time mobile incentives. She led the implementation of eligibility algorithms, third-party disbursement API integrations, and custom reports for audit, finance, and regulatory compliance. In the AI for good space, she co-developed a multilingual AI-powered chatbot using NLP to address vaccine hesitancy and has also explored AI for digital accessibility, including an AI-powered sign language translator.
Humdiya has also led the development of scalable EdTech platforms, including collaborations with Pakistan's Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT). Her systems approach spans architecture, UX, cloud infrastructure, and data strategy. A regular speaker at global forums such as the DHIS2 Symposium, Humdiya is a recipient of multiple innovation awards and remains committed to building ethical, impactful technologies that drive measurable, sustainable social change.
