He brings extensive expertise in big data analytics, mobile mapping tools, and geospatial system development to support health, education, and livelihoods programs. Siddique has developed and deployed advanced GIS applications, user interfaces, and automated workflows that improve efficiency and impact. Notably, he led the development, implementation, and ongoing performance of the GIS dashboard tab for Pakistan’s Electronic Immunization Registry (EIR), scaled nationally after a successful provincial launch.
His innovations include the Temperature & Door Activity Logger (TDAL), an IoT device enhancing cold chain safety, and critical COVID-19 transmission maps. His GIS analyses have been instrumental in identifying zero-dose children and geographic hotspots with low immunization coverage and high disease risk.
Siddique regularly contributes to coordination meetings, providing actionable recommendations based on spatial analytics. He plays a key role in capacity-building initiatives, equipping public and private sector partners with the skills to effectively utilize geospatial data. He also trains local teams and communities in the use of GIS and GPS tools, and builds partner capacity in participatory mapping methods to ensure locally grounded, sustainable solutions.
Proficient in QGIS, ArcGIS, Python, R, ODK-X, and KoboToolbox, he builds dashboards that turn complex, real-time data into accessible, decision-ready insights. Holding a Master’s in Sociology, Siddique blends technical innovation with deep contextual understanding to advance equitable, data-driven development outcomes.
