A passionate advocate for education and skills development, General Dogar has led numerous initiatives to strengthen technical and youth education in Pakistan. He founded the Lahore Institute of Technical Education (LITE) and the Panu Aqil Institute of Technical Education (PITE), and chaired the Boards of Governors for Cadet College Larkana and Cadet College Panu Aqil. He also played a founding role in establishing CMH Lahore Medical College and oversaw the management of several public schools in Lahore.
General Dogar brings deep expertise in strategic planning, crisis leadership, and national policy development. His frontline leadership during the 2010 Pakistan floods—chronicled in his book “Labbaik: To the Call of Calamity”—exemplifies his long-standing commitment to humanitarian action and community resilience. A frequent public speaker and published author, he continues to share insights on leadership, strategy, and personal growth.
He holds Master’s degrees in International Relations, Defence Management, and Defence Studies from the National Defence University (Pakistan) and Dhaka University (Bangladesh). He currently leads The Pathfinder Pak, an organization focused on cultivating leadership and driving nation-building initiatives.
General Dogar’s blend of strategic vision, educational innovation, and civic engagement positions him as a key contributor to advancing equity, resilience, and inclusive development. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Grassroots, where he supports efforts to strengthen community-led development and promote sustainable impact.
