His experience of working with public health and communicable disease control programs and maternal and child health and vaccination and family planning programs and nutrition, research and academic institutions and health systems gave him a greater understanding and experience of addressing the public health challenges in developing countries. His expertise includes Proposal development, Strategic planning and Policy development, Context analysis, Surveys, Research-RCTs and Operational Research, Option appraisals and need assessments, Training material and guidelines development, Capacity building, Assessments and evaluations, Project implementation and monitoring, Academic supervision and Dissemination. He has presented research in international conferences and has more than 30 publications in international peer reviewed journals mainly as principal author including Lancet Global Health. He supervises masters, PhD candidates, and an examiner of master’s and PhD candidates.
