Subhash has over two decades of experience leading research and projects in numerous countries, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Peru, Ecuador, UAE, and the USA. He has a proven track record in large-scale research and service delivery. This funding has led to improved health outcomes for millions of women and children, capacity building of thousands of healthcare workers and service providers, and the implementation of regional and national policy revisions. A notable example of his work includes conceiving Pakistan's Electronic Immunization Registry (EIR), spearheading its design, testing, and piloting, leading its provincial scale-up, and subsequently supporting its national adoption. He provides technical assistance to governments and collaborates with international organizations (WHO, UNICEF, GAVI, Gates Foundation, and others), contributing to evidence-based policy and program implementation. He is a faculty member at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and serves on the WHO Digital Health Technical Advisory Group.
