Dr. Vijay Kumar Dharma, a physician dedicated to serving marginalized communities, earned his medical degree in Pakistan. He furthered his expertise through a prestigious scholarship from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) via the NOMA program at the University of Oslo (UiO). This enabled him to obtain an MPhil in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences, University of Dhaka. Vijay has been committed to serving marginalized and underserved communities, particularly those in remote and hard-to-reach areas, through public health interventions, health technology, research, and innovation.

Vijay brings over two decades of experience dedicated to improving the health of women and children. His work in Pakistan has focused on strengthening immunization programs and maternal and child health outcomes. Through hands-on field experience alongside frontline healthcare workers, Vijay understands the real-world challenges of delivering essential health services. His expertise spans program development, strategic planning, research, and digital health, all aimed at ensuring healthier communities.
